6月20日—7月4日，第二批澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学学生交流团在武汉开展为期两周的中国深度研学交流活动。本次交流项目成功获批中国政府奖学金暑期学校项目，是两校继首次交流合作后再度携手组织的澳方学子来华参加研学活动。

From June 20 to July 4, the second student exchange delegation from the University of Newcastle, Australia, carried out a two-week in-depth study and exchange program in Wuhan. This program has been successfully approved as a Chinese Government Scholarship Summer School, marking the second time the two universities have joined hands ,following their initial cooperation, to organize Australian students’ study visits to China.

两周研学课程依托武汉理工大学校内外教学资源打造，兼顾传统文化浸润、本土企业实地参访与专业商科学习，内容丰富立体、层次分明。在传统文化课堂上，学子们先后走进书法、国画脸谱、茶艺和螺钿及传统音乐课堂，沉浸式感受中华传统艺术之美；还专程前往南湖校区陶瓷梦工厂亲手感受传统制瓷工艺，多维度触摸鲜活的中华优秀传统文化。

The two-week curriculum was built on the teaching resources of Wuhan University of Technology, both on and off campus, blending traditional cultural immersion, on-site visits to local enterprises, and professional business studies. The content was rich, multi-dimensional, and well-structured. In traditional culture classes, the students took part in sessions on calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting and opera facial makeup, tea art, mother-of-pearl inlay, and traditional music, immersing themselves in the beauty of Chinese traditional arts. They also made a special trip to the Ceramic Dream Factory on the Nanhu Campus to experience traditional porcelain-making techniques first-hand, gaining a tangible, multi-faceted encounter with vibrant and outstanding traditional Chinese culture.

专业学习方面，依托暑期学堂开设了系统化商科课程，围绕国内经济发展、产业运营等核心内容开展专题授课，课后设置问答交流环节，中外师生面对面探讨行业发展差异、经贸合作机遇，碰撞多元思维火花。

For professional learning, systematic business courses were offered through the summer school platform, with thematic lectures centered on core topics such as domestic economic development and industrial operations. Q&A sessions after the lectures provided opportunities for Chinese and international faculty and students to discuss differences in industry development and opportunities for economic and trade cooperation face to face, sparking a lively exchange of diverse ideas.

产业参访板块聚焦武汉特色优势产业，打造沉浸式实地课堂。交流团先后走进中碳登、华新水泥、所见科技、比亚迪武汉展示中心、车谷展示中心、华工激光六大标杆企业，覆盖绿色低碳、新材料、高端定制平台、新能源汽车、高端智能制造等重点赛道；同步组织参观余家头校区航海博物馆、天象馆、航海模拟器，探访校内未来学习中心与艺术馆，结合空轨城市地标打卡、江夏里民俗走访、湖北省博物馆文物研学、东湖绿道城市风光实践，让海外学子近距离观察中国城市建设、科技创新与文旅发展成果。

The industry visit segment focused on Wuhan’s distinctive and competitive industries, creating an immersive on-the-ground classroom. The delegation visited six benchmark enterprises: China Carbon Emission Registry, Huaxin Cement, Suojian Technology, the BYD Wuhan Exhibition Center, the Auto Valley Exhibition Center, and Huagong Laser, covering key tracks such as green and low-carbon development, new materials, high-end customization platforms, new energy vehicles, and high-end intelligent manufacturing. At the same time, visits were organized to the Maritime Museum, Planetarium, and Navigation Simulator on the Yujiatou Campus, as well as the on-campus Future Learning Center and Art Museum. Combined with check-in visits to urban landmarks along the sky train, folk culture explorations in Jiangxia Li, cultural relic studies at the Hubei Provincial Museum, and urban scenery practice along the East Lake Greenway, these activities enabled the visiting students to observe China’s achievements in urban construction, scientific and technological innovation, and cultural tourism development up close.
