为丰富国际学生的在华学习生活,进一步促进来华留学生对中国法治建设工作的理解与认识,教育部留学服务中心与华东政法大学精心策划了“邂逅法治中国”项目。我校推荐的两名优秀国际学生——来自巴布亚新几内亚的博士研究生白丽和来自缅甸的硕士研究生简妮特有幸通过选拔于11月10日至16日参与了该项目。
In order to enrich the life of international students in China and further promote the understanding and understanding of the construction of the rule of law in China, the Service Center for Study Abroad of the Ministry of Education and East China University of Political Science and Law carefully planned the "Encountering the Rule of Law in China" project. Two outstanding international students recommended by our university, Betty Wakia, a PhD student from Papua New Guinea, and Zay Nyein Htun, a master's student from Myanmar, were selected to participate in the program from November 10th to 16th.
在为期一周的活动中,白丽和简妮特与来自全国各大高校的优秀国际学生齐聚上海,通过专题讲座、企业参访、互动交流等形式,深入了解了中国法治体系的精髓与法治建设的辉煌成就。
During the week-long event, Betty and Zay gathered in Shanghai with outstanding international students from major universities across the country to gain insights into the essence of China's rule of law system and its brilliant achievements through the form of special lectures, corporate visits, and interactive exchanges.
他们还实地参观考察了上海法院和涉外业务律师事务所、华东政法大学校史馆、李昌钰博士刑侦科学博物馆等地,在感受上海悠久历史和深厚文化底蕴的同时,更加直观地了解到了中国的法律实践的真实环境与法律职业的生动场景。
They also visited the Shanghai Court, the Law Firm of Foreign Affairs, the School History Museum of East China University of Political Science and Law, Dr. Li Changyu Criminal Investigation Science Museum and other places, while experiencing Shanghai's long history and profound cultural heritage, more intuitive to understand the real environment of China's legal practice and the vivid scene of the legal profession.
谈及活动感受,白丽难掩激动之情:“能与来自顶尖学府的学生共聚一堂,共同深入了解中国的法律体系,对于我来说是一次极为宝贵的经历。我被融入法律讨论中的文化视角所吸引,这让我对中国法律有了更深刻的理解。
Talking about the activity, Betty can not hide the excitement:“It was an invaluable experience for me to get together with students from top universities and gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese legal system. I was drawn to the cultural perspective that was integrated into legal discussions, which gave me a deeper understanding of Chinese law.”
”简妮特也感叹道:“此次活动不仅帮助我加深了对中国法律体系背后的文化底蕴的认识,还让我有机会与来自不同背景的同学们进行深入交流,使我的学习之旅既丰富全面又充满洞察力和感知力。”
Zay also marveled: "The event not only deepened my understanding of the cultural heritage underlying China's legal system but also provided an opportunity for meaningful exchanges with classmates from diverse backgrounds, enriching my academic journey with valuable insights and broader perspectives."
活动圆满落幕之际,所有参与学生均获得了由华东政法大学颁发的结业证书,这既是对他们学习成果的认可,也标志着他们圆满完成了一次充实而富有意义的学习之旅。此次活动不仅为留学生提供了宝贵的学习和交流机会,也进一步促进中外法律文化的融合交流,为推动基层法治建设注入更多力量。
At the end of the event, all the participating students received a certificate of completion from ECUPL, which not only recognized their academic achievements, but also marked their successful completion of a full and meaningful study journey. This activity not only provided valuable learning and communication opportunities for international students, but also further promoted the integration and exchange of Chinese and foreign legal cultures, and injected more strength into the construction of the rule of law at the grassroots level.
