——The Autumn International Student Sports were successfully held

秋高气爽，丹桂飘香；彩旗飘扬，口号响亮。为了丰富国际学生的业余生活、促进同学们的团结和手足情谊、增进中外体育竞技文化的交流、加强国际新生对新环境的适应，并响应热爱体育、全民健身的号召，2023年11月12日至27日，在留学生管理办公室的指导下，由国际文化交流协会主办，羽毛球协会、排球协会和篮球协会协办的主题为“共筑梦想丝路，携手共创未来”的秋季国际学生运动会顺利举办，此次活动不仅展现了留学生们的风采，也促进了国际间的体育文化交流。本次留学生运动会设立了乒乓球、羽毛球、足球、国际象棋、篮球和排球六个项目，共计进行了40多场比赛，吸引了300多名中外学生参与。这不仅是一场体育竞技的盛宴，更是一次跨越国界的青春之约，留学生们在这里共赴青春之约，共谱青春华章。

In order to enrich the leisure life of international students, promote unity and brotherhood among classmates, enhance the exchange of sports and competitive culture between China and foreign countries, strengthen the adaptation of international freshmen to the new environment, and respond to the call for love of sports and national fitness, from November 12th to 27th, 2023, under the guidance of the International Student Management Office, sponsored by the International Cultural Exchange Association(ICEA), the Badminton Association, the Volleyball Association and Basketball Association with the theme of "Building Dreams on the Silk Road, Joining Hands to Create the Future," was successfully held. This event not only showcased the charm of international students, but also promoted international sports and cultural exchanges. The International Student Games set up six events, including table tennis, badminton, football, chess, basketball, and volleyball, with a total of more than 40 matches held, attracting more than 300 Chinese and foreign students to participate. This is not only a grand feast of sports competition, but also a youthful promise that crosses national borders. International students are here to join in the youthful promise and compose a brilliant chapter of youth.

Part 01

Table Tennis Match

2023年11月12 日周日，下午两点，乒乓球比赛在南湖校区留学生公寓操场顺利举行，这也意味着武汉理工大学秋季留学生运动会正式拉开序幕。

乒乓球是中国的“国球”，在世界享有盛名，也因此吸引了很多留学生的兴趣。整整四小时，留学生进行了激烈精彩的比赛。大家秉持着“友谊第一，比赛第二”的原则，获胜的同学不骄傲，惜败的同学不气馁，以一个友好的拥抱结束比赛。此次乒乓球赛在2023年11月12日下午六点圆满结束。

On Sunday, November 12th, 2023, at 14:00 PM, the table tennis match was successfully held in the International Student dormitory playground of Nanhu Campus, which also means that the autumn International Student Sports Meeting of Wuhan University of Technology officially kicked off.

Table tennis is the "national ball" of China, which enjoys a great reputation in the world, and therefore attracts the interest of many overseas students. For four hours, the international students had a fierce and wonderful competition. Everyone adheres to the principle of "friendship first, competition second", the winning students are not proud, the losing students are not discouraged, and the game ends with a friendly hug. The table tennis match ended successfully at 6pm on November 12th, 2023.

Part 02

Hot blooded greenery, vibrant youth

2023年11月18日周六，上午十点，足球比赛在武汉理工大学马房山校区鉴湖足球场顺利举行。在比赛前的热身运动中，留学生们表现出的积极与雀跃就已经很好的袒露出他们内心对足球的热爱与执着。赛前，他们蓄势待发，赛中，他们热情似火，神采飞扬。只见前锋灵活地盘过对方高大的后卫，连闯数关，直插球门区，急停，转身，飞起一脚，球若流星。默契的配合，精妙的射门，都展现出了奋勇拼搏的足球精神。

2023年11月26日下午五点，随着最后一声哨声响起，此次国际学生运动会足球决赛正式结束，比赛结果揭晓，第一名产生了！

Football

On Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at 10:00am, the football match was successfully held at Jianhu Football Stadium. In the warm-up exercise before the competition, the enthusiasm and excitement exhibited by international students have already shown their inner love and persistence for football. Before the game, they were ready to start, while during the game, they were enthusiastic and full of energy. A forward agile past the tall defender of the opponent, repeatedly breaking through several levels, piercing straight into the goal area, making a quick stop, turning around, and flying a foot, the ball like a shooting star. The tacit cooperation and exquisite shooting all demonstrate the football spirit of fighting bravely.

At 5：00 pm on November 26th, 2023, with the last whistle sounded, the football final of the International Student Games officially came to an end, and the results of the match were announced, with the first place being awarded!

Part 03

Badminton Match

此次运动会中的羽毛球比赛分为11月18日的初赛和11月26日的决赛两场比赛。2023年11月18日周六，下午六点，留学生运动会羽毛球赛在南湖羽毛球馆拉开序幕。来自校羽毛球协会的裁判和参赛选手们以饱满的热情和高度的积极性全身心地投入到此次比赛中，充分发挥了敢拼敢打的进取精神。单打比赛，大家劲头十足，将个人球技发挥的淋漓尽致；混双比赛，大家和队友配合默契，快速移动，提高击球速度大力扣球，整个过程让人目不暇接！

此次羽毛球赛在2023年11月26日下午九点圆满结束。此次比赛不仅激发了留学生们对羽毛球的热爱，也促进了同学们之间的友谊和技术交流，展现了留学生们积极的精神风貌和生活风采。

2023年11月19日，上午十点，阳光洒在武汉理工大学南湖篮球场上，泛起一层金色的光芒，球员们身着统一运动服，跃跃欲试，紧张的气氛中透露出坚定的决心，他们的眼神坚定而炯炯有神，就像猎豹在草原上蓄势待发，准备捕捉猎物，随着裁判员的一声哨响，比赛正式开始。留学生们精神抖撒，配合默契，传球、运球、投篮，动作行云流水，一气呵成。他们的身姿矫健而灵活，就像一只只展翅飞翔的雄鹰，在篮球场上空翻腾、跳跃。

On the morning of November 19th, 2023, at 10 o'clock, the sun shone on the Nanhu basketball court of WUT, casting a golden light. The players were dressed in uniform sportswear, eager to try, and the tense atmosphere revealed their firm determination. Their eyes were firm and bright, like a cheetah preparing to catch prey on the grassland. With the sound of the referee's whistle, the game officially began. 此次激动人心的排球比赛在2023年11月26日圆满结束，不仅展现了留学生们积极向上、勇于拼搏的精神面貌，也增强了团队凝聚力，营造了推动了校园精神文明建设。

On November 19th, 2023, at 2:00 in the afternoon, with the whistle of the referee, the preliminary round of the volleyball match held at Jianhu Volleyball Stadium was in full swing. On the field, the participating players rose up in the air, serving and blocking the ball. The two teams were not willing to give up, and each team member played brilliantly; The cheerleading team off the field was enthusiastic, cheering and cheering one after another.

2023年11月19日，下午六点，国际象棋比赛在南湖校区留学生公寓活动室顺利举行。虽然国际象棋并不是像篮球那样的竞技运动，但当木棋触台发出的清脆的响声不断响起，流畅的线条，紧密的战术，那士兵和王后仿佛能呐喊出声！那战火和硝烟仿佛能燃烧棋盘！

On November 19th, 2023, at 6 pm, the international chess game was successfully held in the activity room of the international student apartment at the Nanhu campus. Although chess is not a competitive sport like basketball, the crisp sound of the wooden board hitting the platform keeps ringing, with smooth lines and tight tactics, the "soldiers" and "queen" seem to be able to shout out loud! The flames of war and smoke seem to burn the chessboard!

Award ceremony

这场秋季留学生运动会给来自世界各地的留学生们提供了一个施展才华的舞台，让留学生们在这里尽情挥洒汗水，收获友谊。来自世界各地的留学生在这里相识，各国文化在这里相互交织，彼此相得益彰，精彩纷呈。不仅有利于帮助国际新生适应环境，更是促进了中外学生之间的团结和情谊。

运动会所有项目结束后，老师和留学生齐聚一堂举行了颁奖仪式，为比赛中取得好名次的同学依次颁奖，鼓励所有同学继续弘扬体育精神，在日常生活中也要坚持体育锻炼。通过这次活动，留学生们不仅增强了体质、丰富了课余生活，还增进了相互之间的了解和友谊。在未来的学习和生活中，他们将携手共进、共筑梦想丝路，为创造更美好的未来而努力奋斗。
