桃花笑映,清风依依。为追溯文化之根,传承和发扬中华优秀传统文化,4月1日下午,国际教育学院团委于新三教学楼206教室举行“筝筝纸鸢,放飞梦想”风筝主题活动。

Peach blossom smile happily and the wind breezes merrily. In order to trace the roots of culture, inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, the Youth League Committee of the School of International Education held a kite theme activity in Room 206 of the Xin3 Teaching Building on the afternoon of April 1st.



活动开始,主持人以古诗为引,用英文介绍了风筝的悠久历史和其背后深厚的文化底蕴。古代诗词不仅描摹了放飞风筝的和谐画面,更引发了留学生对风筝技艺的兴趣。接着,主持人介绍了风筝的起源、种类和发展历程,为全体留学生呈现了一幅横贯古今的历史画卷,及风筝文化的传承发展。经过志愿者细心的讲解,留学生们了解了风筝所蕴含的文化内涵,承载的以祈福、长寿、吉祥为代表的文化寄托,大家热情高涨。

At the beginning of the activity, the host introduced the long history of kite and the profound culture behind it in English, citing ancient poetry. Ancient poems not only depict the harmonious picture of flying kites, but also arouse students' interest in kite skills. Then, the host introduced the origin, types and development history of kites, presenting a historical picture of the ancient and modern, as well as the inheritance and development of kite culture. Through the careful explanation of the volunteers, the international students understood the cultural connotation of kites, which carried the cultural sustenance represented by praying for good luck, longevity and auspiciousness. They were very enthusiastic.


活动第二项,留学生们进行风筝现场制作。首先,留学生们在志愿者的指导下进行迷你风筝制作。留学生们用志愿者们事先准备好的风筝盒子制作迷你风筝,他们按照步骤进行木框摆正、夹子固定、胶水涂抹等操作,志愿者们耐心地对留学生们进行提供帮助,进行手把手教学,协助他们完成迷你风筝制作,现场气氛活跃热闹。此后,留学生用自己设计的绘画作为风筝图案,为DIY风筝添加丰富元素,制作了各具特色的风筝,创新了风筝形式。

In the second activity, students made kites happily. First, the students made mini kites under the guidance of volunteers. The international students made mini kites with the kite boxes prepared by the volunteers. They straightened the wooden frame, fixed the clamps, and applied glue in accordance with the steps. The volunteers patiently offered help to the international students, conducted hand by hand teaching, and assisted them to complete the mini kite making. Since then, the students have used their own paintings as kite patterns, adding rich elements to DIY kites, making kites with different characteristics and innovative kite forms.



随着风筝制作环节的结束,本次风筝文化活动也圆满落幕。参与此次活动的Aydah表示,这次活动使她受益良多,她决定将风筝带回去给她的侄子并向他介绍中国的传统风筝文化。在本次活动中,中外学生齐聚一堂,共同制作风筝,探寻文化内涵,在传承中华优秀传统文化中,推动风筝文化走向世界。

With the end of kite making, the kite culture activity has come to a successful end. Aydah, who participated in the event, said the event benefited her so much that she decided to take the kite back to her nephew and introduce him to traditional Chinese kite culture. In this activity, Chinese and foreign students gathered together to make kites, explore the cultural connotation, and promote the kite culture to the world while inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
