On the morning of June 13, the International Student Education Management Center held a lecture on "anti-fraud" and laws and regulations in the lecture hall of Nanhu Lide Building. In this lecture, police officer Pan Jie and his colleagues from the Wuhan Immigration Service Center was specially invited to carry out legal safety education for international students of our univerisity in China. Relevant staff of the International Student Management Office and about 150 international students participated in the lecture through a combination of online and offline methods.
In the lecture, Officer Ye focused on travel, network, fire safety, etc., and combined the management regulations for international students, such as "Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China", "The Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Entry and Exit of Foreigners", and the "Regulations on the Administration of Employment of Foreigners in China". By using pictures, videos, and cases, she give a detailed introduction to visa processing from China, entry and exit, illegal employment, illegal residence, telecommunication fraud, drug control, and traffic safety. There are many security risks that may exist in it. Officer Ye reminded international students to continuously strengthen their awareness of legal security, improve their self-protection capabilities, and strive to achieve safe, healthy, civilized and successful study in China, and be good ambassadors of Chinese culture.
This special lecture is one of the safety education series activities of the International Student Education Management Center. This lecture aims to strengthen the safety awareness of international students in our school, so as to popularize safety knowledge, enhance the safety prevention and legal awareness of international students, and ensure that they can spend a beautiful and peaceful life smoothly. In the future, the center will continue to strengthen cooperation with relevant law enforcement departments such as Wuhan Immigration Service Center and Wuhan Public Security Bureau to jointly protect the safety of students.
