Teaching Arrangements for 2025 Postgraduate Students


(Students from the School of Management shall contact their school coordinator for group course arrangements.)

Public Degree Courses – 2025–2026 Academic Year, Semester 2

Courses shall commence in Week 2 (March 9, 2026).


Public Degree Courses Offered

1. Basic Chinese 2(for Ph.D. and master’s students)

Class restructuring has been implemented due to adjustments to the teaching schedule and campus residential arrangements. Students are required to check their personal timetable via the graduate student system and attend classes according to their updated class assignment.

2. Introduction to China(for Ph.D. and master’s students)

3. Numerical Analysis(for designated groups of master’s students)

4. Stochastic Processes(for designated groups of master’s students)

Classroom Locations

  • Basic Chinese 2: Zhiyuan Building (East Teaching Building No. 1), East Campus


  • Introduction to China, Numerical Analysis, Stochastic Processes: Gongda Building, West Campus


Attendance Requirement

Students whose attendance rate is below two-thirds shall be disqualified from the final examination.


Course Exemption Policy

Exemption for Basic Chinese 2

Students who hold a valid HSK certificatewith all components (listening, reading, writing, speaking) scoringno less than 60may apply for exemption:

  • Students in English-medium programs: HSK Level 3 or above

  • Students in Chinese-medium programs: HSK Level 5 or above

Exemption for Introduction to China

Students who have completed a Chinese culture course at a previous university with a score of 80 or highermay apply for exemption.


Application Instructions

  • Students who do not meet the exemption requirements must attend classes as scheduled.

  • Students who submitted applications in the previous semester are not required to reapply.

  • All applications must be completed at the Teaching Affairs Office, Room 402, International Student Office, by March 13, 2026.
