武汉理工大学2023国际学生（本科）招生简章

一、申请资格

1. 身体健康、品行端正，具有相当于中国普通高中毕业学历的外国公民。

2. 学习成绩优良，提供下列成绩证明(包括但不限于）：

2.1 高中学校提供的官方成绩单（英文或中文版成绩单原件或公证件）。

2.2 国家/地区统一高中考试成绩单

2.3 国际通行标准化测试成绩

3.截至2023年9月1日年满18岁（含以上）；仍未满18周岁的申请人，须在申请时提交

  监护人保证书。

4.语言水平

4.1汉语水平(汉语授课申请者)

4.1.1理工科、文科申请者达到HSK四级（含）以上；

   4.1.2汉语水平未达到要求者可以申请汉语进修，汉语水平达到学校要求后，再申请进入专业院系学习；

4.2.英语水平(英语授课申请者)

  母语非英语的英文授课项目申请者需提供英语水平证明，如TOEFL需达到80分，IELTS需达到6.0，或提供TOEFL MyBest, TOEFL iBT Home Edition，TOEFL Essentials成绩(TOEFL DI code: C647)等；不能提供标准化英语测试证明的申请人需进行英语笔试或面试。

6.国籍身份

    根据教育部教外函〔2020〕12号，出生时即具有外国国籍但父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国的申请人以及祖国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾居民在移民后获得外国国籍的申请人，应持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件4年（含）以上，且最近4年（截至入学年度的4月30日前）之内有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

二、 申请流程

1. 网上申请

   请在申请时间内登录武汉理工大学国际学生申请系统http://admission.whut.edu.cn，注册并登录后按要求真实、完整地填写《武汉理工大学外国留学生入学申请表》，并按照系统要求上传相关证明附件并交纳报名费。

汉语等级证书或考试成绩证明（仅限汉语授课申请者）

无犯罪记录证明

已在中国境内并有在华学习经历的申请者需提供前学习院校开据的在校表现情况说明。

交纳报名费500人民币（约合80美元）的证明

近六个月的体检报告

注：申请者在网上提交所有申请材料均为原件扫描件，若原件语言不包含通用语，则还需要同时提交其中文或英文翻译件。报到注册时需提供所有材料原件以供审核。

2.材料评审

   对于按时提交申请及相关证明的申请人，申请材料需完整真实，否则将视为不合格申请。

3.签证申请

   被录取者应提交普通护照、录取文件中的《录取通知书》、《外国来华留学人员签证申请表》、《外国人体格检查记录》及所有体格检查（含血检）报告，在入境前根据其学习期限向中国驻其国籍国或居住地国使领馆或中国外交部委托的其他驻外机构申请办理学生（X1字或X2字）签证。

  注明：被录取者如果不持学生签证入境，武汉理工大学将不能为其注册。

三、招生专业

四、学制与学位的颁发与授予

武汉理工大学本科学制为四年（建筑学专业为五年），采用中文教学（部分专业采用英文教学：土木工程、工商管理、国际经济与贸易、计算机科学与技术、采矿工程、工业工程、机械工程、物流管理，具体以当年学院是否开课为准）。完成规定的教学计划，考核合格并通过毕业论文答辩，颁发本科毕业证书，经学位审查合格，授予学士学位。

五、费用

1.报名费

     500元/人（境外支付约80美元，具体金额以实际汇率为准）

2.学费

注明：学历生新生在我校报到注册时应足额缴纳第一年学费，否则不予注册。

六、新生奖学金

中国政府奖学金-国别双边项目

    该项目计划重点资助友华人士来武汉理工大学学习。请直接与本国留学生派遣部门联系并申请（一般为中国驻当地使领馆）, 此项目可招收本科生、硕士研究生、博士研究生、普通进修生和高级进修生。申请时间一般为1月初至4月初。招生类别,申请时间和机构代码信息，请向本国留学生派遣部门查询。具体申请要求，请登录中国国家留学生基金委网站http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina 或 https://www.campuschina.org/ 以及武汉理工大学网站http://admission.whut.edu.cn。申请者同时需符合大学申请要求，在线申请时选择武汉理工大学为第一志愿学校。

七、申请、录取、报到时间

1. 申请时间为2022年10月10日至2023年6月30日。

2. 录取时间

   具体请查阅http://admission.whut.edu.cn网站信息及学校发送至申请者邮箱的信息。

  注明：申请中国政府奖学金者请查阅相应网站公布时间（具体以领取到通知书为准）  

3.报到时间

  国际学生新生注册报到时间请看新生录取通知书。

  报到时需携齐全的报到材料，包括个人普通护照原件（不接受外交护照和因公护照）、录取通知书及签证申请表原件（JW202/JW201）及入境学生签证。新生入学时须携带所要求的中文或英文学位证和成绩单原件或公证件原件供学校复核入学资格。不符合入学条件者，取消入学资格。

八、住宿

 留学生教育管理中心将为在规定时间内报到注册的新生安排校内住宿。

2023 Undergraduate Programs of Wuhan University of Technology

(Admission for International Applicants)

Ⅰ. Eligibility

1. Applicants should be healthy and well-behaved, and have a foreign citizenship and an educational background equivalent to that of the Chinese high school diploma.

2. Applicants should have good academic records and provide the following documents (including but not limited to):

2.1 High school transcripts (original and notarized copy in English or Chinese).

2.2 Transcripts of National/Regional official high school graduation examination

2.3 Results of international standardized tests

2.4 Applicants who have studied in China should provide the Discipline Record from previous school or university.

3. Applicants should be 18 or above by Sep. 1st 2023. For the applicants under 18, please submit a Guardian Statement in the online application system.

4. Chinese Language Requirements

4.1 HSK (level IV or above) certificate or above is required for applicants who would like to study in the programs taught in Chinese.

4.2 For applicants who haven’t reached the required Chinese language level, they can apply to study Chinese language at Wuhan University of Technology in the first place and apply for the major study after obtaining HSK (level IV or above) certificate.

5. English Language Requirements

For non-native English speakers who apply for English-taught programs, they should provide a score report of English Proficiency test (TOEFL 80+/ IELTS 6.0+/ TOEFL My Best/ TOEFL iBT Home Edition/ TOEFL Essentials, and etc.). For applicants who cannot offer the above-mentioned standardized English test results, they will be required to participate in an additional oral or written English test organized by Wuhan University of Technology.

6. Study Requirements for Ethnic Chinese

According to the NO.12 (2020) Announcement of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China, applicants who have foreign nationality at birth but both or one of their parents are Chinese citizens who settled in a foreign country, as well as residents of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan who have obtained foreign nationality after immigrating should hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive), and have a record of actual residence in a foreign country for more than 2 years within the most recent 4 years (by April 30 of the enrollment year) (The actual residence in a foreign country for 9 months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to entry and exit signatures).

Applicants are also required to provide birth certificate and previous expired passports.

Ⅱ. Application Procedures

1. Application

Please log in to the online application system at Wuhan University of Technology International Students Service System within the application period at http://admission.whut.edu.cn. Please complete the Wuhan University of Technology Application Form for Foreign Scholars and Students correctly and completely, and upload the supporting documents and pay the application fee as required.

1.1 Application Documents

  Front pages of passport and visa page issued by Chinese embassies (if there are any)

  Diploma of high school education (and translation in Chinese or English)

  High school transcripts (and translation in Chinese or English)

  HSK certificate or score report of HSK (Chinese medium programs only)

  Bank statement of the applicant or financial sponsor (Supplementary as required )

  Score report of English language test, e.g. TOEFL/IELTS/others (Chinese medium programs only)

  Certificate of non-criminal record

  Descriptions of school performance (for applicants who have learning experiences in China)

  Receipt of application fee 500 RMB or 80$

  Valid physical examination report

Note: Applicants are required to submit the scan copies of original documents, and translations in Chinese or English will also be required if the original documents do not contain lingua franca. Hard copies of documents are needed for verification upon registration. If there are any counterfeit about application materials, the admission will be considered invalid.

1.2 Online Application

  Create your account in the online application system via http://admission.whut.edu.cn

  Fill in the required information to complete the application form and upload the documents as required.

  Submit the application during the application period.

2. Comprehensive Evaluation

2.1 Documents Review

Applicants should submit all information and documents accurately and completely before the deadline for the evaluation of Wuhan University of Technology. Otherwise, the application will not be considered.

2.2 Examination Interview

Applicants who pass the application document review will be admitted to the interview. The interview time and method will be informed in advance. Outstanding applicants recognized by Wuhan University of Technology will have the interview waived and get an offer directly.

3.Visa Application

Admitted applicants must bring their passport, Admission Letter, Visa Application Form (JW202/201), Physical Examination Record Form as well as Blood Test Record to the local Chinese Embassy/Consulate or other official missions authorized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China to apply for a student visa (X1/X2 visa).

Notice: If admitted applicants hold other types of visa rather than student visa (X1/X2 visa), they will not be registered at Wuhan University of Technology.

Ⅳ. Duration, Degree & Diploma

The duration of study for undergraduate programs at Wuhan University of Technology is four years (Architecture requires five years). The programs are delivered in Chinese and some of them can be taught in English which include Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Technology. International Economy and Trade, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Logistics Management, and Mechanical Engineering. Bachelor's degree and graduation certificate will be awarded, if students finish all the required courses and pass the thesis defense.

Ⅵ. Scholarships for New Students

Chinese Government Scholarship-Bilateral Program

Ⅶ. Application, Admission and Registration Period

1. Application Period

1.1 Self-sponsor Applicants

Application time is from Oct. 10th of this year to Jun. 30th of next year.

1.2 Application Period for Chinese Government Scholarship Applicants

Application time is usually from early December of this year to March 31st of next year.

2. Admission Period

Based on overall evaluation of the document and interview of the applicants, Wuhan University of Technology will contact the applicant for admission materials by email. Please check the admission result at the website http://admission.whut.edu.cn/

Note: For applicants who apply for Chinese Government Scholarships, please check the related online application system to get admission results.

3. Registration Period

Registration period usually starts in early September. Please check the admission notice for the specific registration time for new students.

During registration at Wuhan University of Technology, the admitted students should bring their ordinary passport (diplomatic passport and service passport will not be accepted), Admission Notice, Visa Application Form (JW202/JW201) and student visa. Original or notarized diploma and transcripts in English or Chinese of your previous study should also be provided for rechecking during the official registration. Any counterfeit about application materials shall result in cancellation of registration.

Ⅷ. Accommodation
