Ⅰ.Introduction of WUT

Wuhan University of Technology (WUT)is a state key universitywhich cultivates the largest amount of talents in China’sthree major industrial sectors:building and construction materials, transportation, and automobile industries.

With a totalland area of 2.67 million square meters and a total gross floor areaof 1.95 million square meters,WUT has over 60,000 faculty and students, 26academic schools, 4 National Technology Innovation Bases and 4 modern libraries with a collection of 4.07 million books. Since 2000, WUT has been awarded over 20 national science and technology prizes, ranking in the forefront of all Chinese colleges and universities. Ⅱ.Programsand Duration

1. Chinese Language program: Chinese as Second Language for beginners

Duration: 2026.09.01 - 2027.07.31

1. Pre-university program: for international students who have no knowledge of Chinese and plan to apply for degree programs or those who want to learn CSCA subjects.

   Duration: 2026.09.01 - 2027.07.31

Ⅲ. Eligibility

1.Applicants should be healthy and well-behaved, and have a foreign citizenship.According to the NO.12 (2020) Announcement of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China, applicants who have foreign nationality at birth but both or one of their parents are Chinese citizens who settled in a foreign country, as well as residents of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan who have obtained foreign nationality after immigrating should hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive), and have a record of actual residence in a foreign country for more than 2 years within the most recent 4 years (by April 30 of the enrollment year) (The actual residence in a foreign country for 9 months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to entry and exit signatures).

2. Chinese language applicants should beunder the age of 25, and pre-university applicantsfor bachelor, master and doctoral programsshouldbe under the age of 23, 33, and 38 separately.For the applicants under 18 by Sep. 1st 2026, a Guardian Statement is required.

Ⅳ.Application Procedures

1.OnlineApplication

Please log in to the online application system at Wuhan University of Technology International Students Service System within the application period viahttp://admission.whut.edu.cn. Please complete the Wuhan University of Technology Application Form for Foreign Scholars and Students correctly and completely, and upload the supporting documents and pay the application fee as required.

2.Application Documents

2.1Front pages of passport and visa page issued by Chinese embassies (if there are any)

2.2Diploma and transcripts of school education (originaland translation in Chinese or English)

2.3Bank statement of the applicant or financial sponsor

2.4Certificate of non-criminal record

2.5Descriptions of school performance (for applicants who have learning experiences in China)

2.6Receipt of application fee

2.7Valid physical examination report

Note: Applicants are required to submit the scan copies of original documents, and translations in Chinese or English will also be required if the original documents do not contain lingua franca. Hard copies of documents are needed for verification upon registration. If there are any counterfeit about application materials, the admission will be considered invalid.

Ⅴ.Reviewand Admission

1.Documents Review

Admission Office,School of International Education, will review the application and documents submitted by applicants within valid period. Qualified application requires complete information and authentic documents.

2. Admission

Wuhan University of Technology will issue Admission Noticeand ConfirmationForm for Study in Chinato applicants who satisfy the conditions for admission and pass the evaluation.

Note: Wuhan University of Technology can not register admitted applicants who do not enter China with private passport and student visa.

Ⅶ. Application, Admission and RegistrationPeriod

1. Application Period

Applicationperiodis from Oct. 10th 2025to June30th 2026.

2. Admission Period

Based on overall evaluation of the application, Wuhan University of Technology will contact the applicant for admission materials by email. Please check the admission result viathe website http://admission.whut.edu.cn/

3. Registration Period

Registration periodis subject to thespecific time printed on the Admission Notice.

During registration at Wuhan University of Technology, the admittedapplicants should bring their passport,visa, Admission Notice, andConfirmationForm for Study in China. Original or notarized diploma and transcripts in English or Chinese of your previous study should also be provided for rechecking during the registration. Any counterfeit about application materials shall result in cancellation of admission.

Ⅷ. Accommodation

Wuhan University of Technology will arrange on-campus dormitories for new studentsin double rooms with 8400 RMB per year per person.
