1. 学制与学位的颁发与授予

武汉理工大学硕士学位学制三年，博士学位学制四年。学校为完成规定的教学计划、考核合格并通过毕业论文答辩的学生颁发硕士或博士毕业证书，经学位审查合格的学生同时授予硕士学位或博士学位。

1. 品行端正、身体健康的外国公民

根据中国教育部相关规定，出生时即具有外国国籍但父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国的申请人以及祖国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾居民在移民后获得外国国籍的申请人，应持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件4年（含）以上，且最近4年（截至入学年度的4月30日前）之内有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

1.材料初审

国际教育学院招生与就业办公室对按时提交的申请及相关证明材料进行初审，申请材料须完整和真实，否则将视为不合格申请。初审合格后将申请材料转入专业学院审核。

2.考核与面试

通过材料初审的申请者进入专业学院学术审核和面试环节，面试时间、方式由专业学院组织安排和通知（专业学院在收到申请材料后，在14天内完成面试并给出是否录取结论）。对于特别优秀的申请者，经过学院专家评审，可以免面试，予以录取。

3.录取

学校根据专业学院的审核意见，向满足录取条件并通过材料审核的申请人发放《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华确认表》。

注：被录取者如不持普通护照和学生签证入境，学校将不能为其注册。

ⅠIntroduction to the school of civil engineering and architecture

The School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, originating from the Civil Engineering Department founded by Zhang Zhidong in 1898 at the Hubei Institute of Technology, has a history of 127years of educational development. It is located at the Mafangshan Campus of Wuhan University of Technology. The school was approved as one of the first master's degree authorization points for Structural Engineering in China in 1981, and in 1986, it was granted the doctoral degree authorization point for Structural Engineering. Currently, it possesses a first-level doctoral degree authorization point in Civil Engineering, which includes eight second-level doctoral points: Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Heating, Gas Supply, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Engineering, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Engineering and Protective Engineering, Bridge and Tunnel Engineering, Civil Engineering Construction and Management, and Historical City and Building Restoration Engineering. The duration of study for Master's degree programs at Wuhan University of Technology is three years, and duration for doctoral degree programs is four years. Graduation certificate and a master's degree or doctoral degree will be awarded if students finish all required courses, pass the thesis defense and degree review.

ⅥEligibility

1. Applicants should be healthy and well-behaved, and have a foreign citizenship.

According to the NO.12 (2020) Announcement of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China, applicants who have foreign nationality at birth but both or one of their parents are Chinese citizens who settled in a foreign country, as well as residents of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan who have obtained foreign nationality after immigrating should hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive), and have a record of actual residence in a foreign country for more than 2 years within the most recent 4 years (by April 30 of the enrollment year) (The actual residence in a foreign country for 9 months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to entry and exit signatures).

2.Applicants should have good academic records and an educational background equivalent to that of the Chinese Bachelor’s degree for master application, and an educational background equivalent to that of the Chinese Master’s degree for doctoral application.

3.Applicants should be under the age of 35 for mater application and under the age of 40 for doctoral application.

4. Language requirements

4.1 HSK (level V or above) certificate is required for programs taught in Chinese.

4.2 English language proficiency certificate is required for programs taught in English and applicants who are not native English speakers, which include score report of English Proficiency test like TOEFL 80+/ IELTS 6.0+/ TOEFL My Best/ TOEFL iBT Home Edition/ TOEFL Essentials, and etc. For applicants who cannot offer the above-mentioned standardized English test results, they will be required to participate in an additional oral or written English test organized by Wuhan University of Technology.

1.Document review

2.Academic review and interview

Applicants who pass the documents review will take the academic review and interview organized by major schools, who will arrange and notify the time and method of interview and give the conclusion of acceptance or rejection within 14 days after receiving the application. 3.Admission
