The School of International Education,as one of the Wuhan University of Technology's 23 schools,was established in July 2002.It takes full responsibilities for implementation and administration of international students and international educational cooperation programs at WUT.Located at the Mafangshan Campus of Wuhan University of Technology,the School attracts thousands of students at home and abroad with its pleasant environment and advanced teaching facilities. Withstrong and professional faculties and management team,the School activelyintroduces international highquality educational resources,the advanced education notion and teaching mode,takes full advantage of the international collaboration,aiming to provide the best living and learning environment for the students.Currently there are about 2000 full time students in the school,including over 450 international students from more than 100 countries around the world. 

The school has established cooperative relationship with about 100 universities and institutions from more than 10 countries,such as America,UK,Australia,France, Canada,Sweden,Belgium,Norway,and so on.The School has developed several programs covering 25 majors in business,engineering,and arts,such as InternationalStudents Program,Undergraduate Program,Wales Undergraduate Program (Arts and Design),Diploma Program,French Program,and Advanced Managerial Expertise Program.A TOEFL Test Center is also set up in the School. 

The school has always adhered to the student-oriented notion and focused on the construction of academic discipline,aiming to establish high quality education system in aspects of mentality,morality,humanity,and physical quality. 

After ten years' development,the school has brought up a total of 4000 students and become one of the top and largest international teaching cooperation schools of key universities in China.More than 90% of the students from the cooperative programs go on their further study abroad.With a sound professional knowledge,fluent foreign language ability and cross-cultural communication skills,these students have made great achievements on their careers.The international students graduated from the School also have become the professionals in their own countries and made great contribution to the international cooperation and exchange.
