This is a picture of myself proudly holding a 'one day authorisation exit' delivered by the bureau of my community. It happened on April 2020-01 and I can't describe the feeling of happiness to step outside and go for a walk with my family, enjoying a normal sunny day, despite wearing and using protection.  It gives me hope to see and experience life out of these gate after being quarantined since January 23， 2020.

My name is Lilian A Leonidas, taking PHD in Information and Communication Engineering. Many times, the way that we look at certain situations and circumstances that we are facing,  will greatly determine if the outcome results in a negative or positive experience. I would like to thank Wuhan university of Technology management during all this epidemic period, for there great support love and caring. They have really helped us pschologically and physically. They came up with different approaches, such as provision of different basic necessities, which everybody was in great pressure after the lockdown thinking on how we are going to get the basic needs. But our lovely WHUT, was there for us. Not only basic needs but also refreshing needs such as provision of choclate, biscuits and many other. They did not end up only on provision of food, but also introducing different online session for refreshing and know more about chinese culture.  Futhermore, during epidemic period they offered chinese program, to improve our chinese language. Am grateful for the tender support love and care which the school and entire management has provided.  Through this it has made our life smooth and our study good. The way we took the epidemic situation has led into positive experience. Thank you WHUT management am in debt with this.  Please accept my deepest thanks.

我们将共同面对困难，我们将一起克服它，并最终庆祝春暖花开的到来。我期待着那一天，我相信它就在不久的将来。我们将耐心地、忠实地站在这里，感谢在这场苦难中帮助我们的所有人。

这便是一个抛却生死安危之人

选择与你共赴此难，情笃意真！

你我一般彼此相爱的人们

誓约凿凿，忠诚而坚贞

我看到你的眼睛已化作泪云

夺眶而出，在每个哀伤时分
你在哭泣，为那些已经逝去的人们

他们如群群鸟儿，向着天际飞腾

就让泪水流淌，犹如滂沱大雨

雨后的大地，每个角落很快获得新生

黑夜渡过，黎明又会来临

整个国度，终将迎来旭日东升

While the world was crying for food and toilet papers, China stood with me providing everything. This troublesome situation gave me some real people whose support will be adored in my entire life. They’ve made this crucial time carefree for me. I didn’t need to worry about food, medicine or any type of help a single bit as yet. My warmth, admiration, and appreciation for my university authority, the Chinese Government, and the Chinese people became sky high. I owe china for becoming the shadow in my bad days.

Am Veronica and I took this photo in spring and being so far from home in these tough times was made more calming because of Wuhan University of Technology, thank Mr David for your hard work.

I would like to thank everyone who have helped the foreigner students.

Am Valeria a student of Wuhan a lockdown, it was tough to stay indoors 24/7 ,to keep sane in such a scary situation, in my neighborhood we are allowed to go to the rooftop, it’s safe and empty, I took this picture of my lovely sisters on the roof top, as you can see one helping on to get up the platform, in my gallery it  holds a lot  of meaning, it simply means we all need each in life, unconditional love and support to survive all kinds of challenges we face because realistically that’s Wuhan city is able to breathe life today. Thank you.
